Is everyone on their meds today, Socket Seekers?

So today was a session with the enemy: my therapist. For the first time in a while she did not get me to cry, so I finally won a battle. She looked a little disappointed at the end but I am sure this is just an anomaly.

Today we talked about my blog and how it is helping with my therapy. Yeah, her idea to have me start a blog as part of my therapy was a good idea—she was right again, which is easily the most annoying thing that can happen. I am two weeks ahead on posts now. All I want to do these days is write. I know I only have two or three readers, but the act of writing has been an obsession. I am trying to get better every time, so I am just going to pretend like you readers agree with me.

This week's assignment—yeah, she still assigns me homework like I am in fifth grade—was to think about what my life will be like when I move to a state not actively looking to make life impossible for people like me.

The first step is that I need to cross the great red divide of the US. You know, the states where people like me are arrested for defending ourselves and needing to pee is a criminal offense.

I have to drive over 1,200 miles on a trip to look for a house in a Jeep that gets about 300 miles to a tank. I looked into getting a second tank installed but it was over $2,500 and was out of the question financially. I thought about buying a bunch of 5-gallon gas cans, but I don't think carrying that much fuel inside the Jeep is good for the interior. I thought the high from the fumes would be fun, but it might spill.

This means I have to stop four or five times to make it across these hateful states. I would fly, except my agoraphobia means being stuck in a metal tube with the monsters in my mind—human beings—is not an option. I have mapped out the trip across these hate states. If I do it right and I drink almost nothing, I can make it without stopping except for fuel. I dread going to these states so much I am considering setting up a bathroom in the back of my Jeep for fear of being arrested for using the bathroom.

Google suggested that I use family restrooms if needed. This seems like a possible solution, but I am not a family, even if my body currently resembles a family of three.

I have a portable toilet for my future camper build and blackout panels for my Jeep, so I might take them just in case. The last thing I need is someone attacking me when my bladder is full. My master plan is to take Imodium with me, which should plug me up until I complete the crossing.

The plan would be to stop in Illinois before attempting the last leg of the great expanse of the red divide. I will only stop in large cities for fuel since intelligence seems to collect in large clumps of humans. Once I cross into Colorado, I will hopefully be safe. I feel like a smuggler or spy crossing into enemy territory to get to an allied country. I will be sneaking my full bladder across the country.

I have to make this journey multiple times. That wasn't my homework assignment, but it is the first thing I think about. I am a "what the fuck can go wrong?" person. I need to overthink every scenario until I convince myself to give up.

Her assignment was to think about my future life, not to figure out the eight zillion things that can go wrong on the way to the future life. I argue that if I don't make it there, then that is a part of the future, but I am guessing she wants to know what I plan to do when I live there.

I told her I planned to buy an underground bunker with a personal Taco Bell installed that just had a food chute directly into my bunker. And the door would be made out of 18-inch thick Titanium—you know, to keep the weight down and keep humans out. The perimeter would have razor wire with automated pepper-ball guns.

Picture a Resident Evil last stand shootout. Me against hordes of angry humans that don't want me to have the right to pee.

She doesn't seem to think I can afford this and wants me to be realistic. I went on Zillow to prove her wrong, but I struck out finding a bunker for sale. Does anyone know if Temu sells bunkers? I have a budget of $14.99 if it includes free shipping.

Since she is probably right that I can't afford a bunker because I "need to live in the real world," I will need to actually come up with a plan for the future.

So here is the plan I plan to not tell you, for fear of you finding out my real identity and being human beings doing something weird like hunting me down.

That won't go well for either of us.

**Useless Recap:**

- I won a therapy battle, which means next week will be brutal.
- My bladder will be a high-value asset that needs to be smuggled across the red divide.
- Zillow let me down—come on Zillow, where is the underground bunker section?
- Water restriction will be key in the great crossing, and fear unfortunately.
